Summer Reading Program

Spend time playing one-on-one with your child during Adventures in Play! This program encourages play-based learning and social play with a variety of fun and educational toys. 

This program is for kids ages 1-3 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week prior.

Special Pals, a local animal shelter, will be bringing cats to adopt and play with during this special event! All participants will need to sign a waiver before entering the cat room. Children must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed by their adult on their behalf. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Before the event, we will have a donation box to accept pet food and other supplies to support the animals at Special Pals.

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to learn how to cook rainbow rice krispie treats at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Thursday, July 24th at 4pm.

A waiver is required to attend the program which will be emailed upon registration.

Calling all animal lovers! Come meet some animals up close and learn about their unique features. You will even have a chance to touch them if you want to! Join us on Thursday, July 24th at 3:00 pm for Meet the Animals with Rebecca Franco from the Cy-Fair ISD Science Resource Center. 

The mission of the Charlotte Davis Burns Science Resource Center is to support and enrich the science program in Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. so that their graduates will achieve the goal of scientific literacy.

Join us for Fishing Foundation and learn more about fresh water fishing in Texas! A local fisherman will teach kids the basics of fresh water fishing in Texas. Then kids will complete a series of related crafts and activities! This program is for kids with any level of fishing experience. 

This program is for kids ages 7-12. Registration is required and begins online one week prior.

Create your own watercolor artwork in this 2-hour workshop presented by Artist Boat! Engage in hands-on activities, models, mapping & watercolor techniques that integrate science and art in a fun and casual way highlighting our home by Galveston Bay!
