The Museum of Fine Arts Houston teams up with Harris County Public Library for Art Camp! Join us at the Fairbanks Branch Library for a 4-day camp that introduces children to great art and children’s literature. The camp will end with a fun trip to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston on Friday, June 20th. This program is open to children ages 7 to 12 years old. Registration is limited. Register at the Service Desk starting May 27th.
Summer Reading Program
This event kicks off the High Meadows Summer STREAM Camp. Each week we will focus on a different STREAM subject—science, technology, robotics, engineering, art, and math.
This program is open to teens and tweens ages 8 to 18. Priority will be given to registered participants, but walk-ins are welcome to attend if space allows.

Crime Stoppers will be here to discuss animal safety when approaching dogs, how to properly care for pets, spotting animal cruelty and how to respond to stray dogs. Ages 0-12.
During the summer, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) teams up with Harris County Public Library to introduce children and their parents to great art and children’s literature. Each week-long Summer Art Camp pairs a book with a work of art and features related discussions and art-making activities at six different library locations.
Join us for a collection of colorful capers this summer! Every Thursday we will have a brand-new Adventure in Art at the High Meadows Library!

Join us on the third Tuesday of the month in the Baldwin Boettcher Library conference room to ease into art making colorful paper beads to use for jewelry or decor! Registration is required, but all supplies are provided. (Ages 18 & up.)

Do you need time to unwind? We know adulting can be hard sometimes, so we have a program for all you adults out there all year and especially this summer! The Adult Coloring Club meets the last Tuesday of each month at 2 pm for 1 hour of coloring, music, and great conversation. It now takes place in the conference room of the Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is required & all supplies are provided. We look forward to seeing you in our library building!
