Senior Adults

This class is for people who already know a little about using a computer and want to learn Microsoft Word. Over 6 weeks, we will practice typing, saving documents, changing text, adding pictures, and using Word tools like spell check and templates. The class meets one hour per week and is hands-on and beginner-friendly.

Registration is not required, but please keep in mind that you should try to attend every class in order to build your skills.

If you need information on how to obtain your GED, join Future U advisor(s) for a hands-on workshop dealing with important and beneficial information related to how to prepare and obtain the GED. Get all the information needed. When ready, we can help you register for the GED academy, classes, or practice with our library's free resources.

El libro del club es 'La Felicidad Cabe en Una Taza de Café' de Toshikazu Kawaguchi. "La vida es como una taza de café, todo está en cómo la preparas y la tomas."

Una cafetería mágica en Tokio, “Funikuri Funikira”, donde los clientes pueden viajar en el tiempo (al pasado o al futuro) mientras su café se enfría, con reglas estrictas como no poder cambiar el presente y colo visitar a personas que ya han estado allí, explorando así historias conmovedoras de perdón, redención y aceptación de la vida a través de cuatro relatos entrelazados.
