Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Do you love crafting? Do you love caffeine? Join the arts & crafts program Make & Wake where we do a new project every month while sipping on coffee or tea, provided by the library. Feel free to bring your own cup of love to drink during the program. This occurs every first Tuesday of each month at 11am. Adults only.

Therapy Dogs from University Baptist Church with Faithful Friends are waiting to meet you!  Taking place on the grass facing Diana Lane, join us in spending time with therapy dogs!  This program is a hit every year, you can read to the dogs and pet them and get your picture taken with them. Please join us!!


This program will be held outside. Please think about bringing hats, sunscreen, water and hand sanitizer.

Available only on Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM.

Chat about great books with some great people! Join our Virtual Book Club, hosted by Katherine Tyra Branch Library!

We will meet virtually (via Microsoft Teams) every first Wednesday of the month from 3-4 PM to discuss the selected book. Online registration is required. You will receive an email with a meeting link the day before the event.

This month, we will be discussing The Lost Book of Adana Moreau by Michael Zapata.

Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
