Wear your fancy clothes and join us for an art-inspired tea party with snacks and a craft! This Tea Party is for children ages 4-8 years old.

Join us every Monday to create a new masterpiece! In this program you will learn about various types of art and use a variety of medium to create a unique art project each week. This program is geared toward children ages 5-12 years old.

The Next Chapter invites adults of all ages to join us for Matinee Mondays in Summer 2025. The Houston Ballet is back for the Summer at the JC Library! Come ready to move and dance for the Move and Read Aloud Program brought to the JC Library by the Houston Ballet! Dance to Learn is a movement integration program that approaches academic curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective. A storytime format, but with LOTS more movement and dancing!
