Are you in 7th–12th grade and looking for a fun, meaningful way to earn volunteer hours and make a difference? Become a Big Buddy at Jacinto City Branch Library!
As a Big Buddy, you’ll be paired with a child in kindergarten through 3rd grade (a Little Buddy) for 10 weeks of shared reading and mentorship. It’s a great way to build leadership skills, obtain service hours, and inspire a love of reading in a younger student.
Mandatory Training Date: Friday, September 5th, 2025 at @ the JC Library
Buddy Sessions begin: Mondays | 4:30 PM – 5:20PM

Como Gran Compañero (Big Buddy), te emparejarán con un niño de kínder a 3.º grado (un Pequeño Compañero) durante 10 semanas de lectura compartida y mentoría. Es una excelente manera de desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo, conectar con tu comunidad e inspirar el amor por la lectura en un estudiante más joven.
