A nicho, in the context of Mexican folk art, is a small, decorative, three-dimensional box or shrine, often resembling a shadow box, used to display items or images that are significant to the creator or a  particular person. They are often used as part of Day of the Dead celebrations. 
Teens are invited to use Kingwood Branch Library's Glowforge laser cutter to pick out their own nicho to cut out and paint! All materials and snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.
