Join Michael, Octavia Field Library's Children's Librarian, for a day of science. Mix, measure and learn how to make your own bouncing ball. Fun will be had by all. (Ages 6-11)
When three funky, frolicking, dump-dwelling creatures see themselves through the eyes of a glamourous butterfly, their world is turned upside down. Alas, there is only one thing left to do. On this Minecraft Adventure, take an incredible journey to the Lost City of Atlantis. In this exciting and immersive experience, kids will learn Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills and work together to journey from Plane Crash Island to Atlantis. This is an excellent 1.5-hour program your child ages 7-12 will surely enjoy.
Join us for some family friendly fun! Each month we will be showing a family friendly movie and at the end there will be a chance to vote for next months showing. Popcorn and water will be provided.
This introductory course is designed for individuals who are new to email or have limited experience. Students will learn to use email while learning how to protect their privacy and security online. Hands-on practice is included in the 6 week class (May 2, 9, 16, 30, June 6 and 13). By the end of the course, students will have gained the foundational knowledge and confidence to use email effectively. Register online, in person, or by phone.
