A.M.I.G.O.S.(Amigos Meeting Intended Goals of South Houston) Friends of the South Houston Library is a nonprofit 501 c3 volunteer group that meets once a month. Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, and Just Dance. All necessary equipment, including the console, controllers, and seating, is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience. Whether you're here to unwind, improve your skills, or meet fellow gamers, Switch 2 Play offers a welcoming space to play and have fun.
Join us for age appropriate stories, songs and crafts to engage toddlers and their parents. Have fun while promoting pre literacy skills! For toddlers 18 months through 3 years old.
Hang out after school with us & make a craft! Recommended for ages 9-12 years.
Join us for a morning of board books, songs, parachute play, and bubbles at Baby Time-for our tiniest patrons and their caregivers! This program is a wonderful way to encourage your child’s language development, early literacy, and connect with other parents!
