The Galveston Bay Area Scale Modelers Association (GBASMA) is a chartered member of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS).. Club meetings are held monthly to present each other's current projects, share new modeling techniques, answer modeling questions and promote the hobby. We meet 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM on the 4th Monday of each month except for May(meets the week after) and December.(no meeting).

Learn how to create your own digital designs using Inkscape, a free vector graphics software that is compatible with all the equipment in our Innovation Lab. This beginner lesson will cover the basics of using the software.

• This program is limited to attendees age 15 and up.
• This program requires basic proficiency with using a desktop computer, mouse, and keyboard. 
• Registration is required due to limited seating.

This is a writers' club meant for all writers to learn more about the art, share their work, and learn from other writers about their work process, publishing, and writing journey.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a brief excerpt from any Work In Progress (WIPs) or other material they are willing to share. At your discretion, you may bring handouts with the material printed on it.

Writers of all levels are welcomed, including people just wanting to learn more!
