Calling all plant lovers! We're having a community plant swap at Galena Park Branch Library!

This is a free event. Selling of plants/cuttings/seedlings is prohibited.

To ensure there is enough space, please do not bring more than 10 plants/cuttings/propagations or seedlings.

Bring unwanted plants, pots, seeds, or other gardening items to swap with other plant enthusiasts.

Registration is encouraged, but not required to attend. If you are on the waitlist, you are still welcome to come!

Guidelines:

Join us for Down to Earth: Clay Crafts! In this fun and hands-on program, we'll be creating different projects with air dry clay. It's happening every other Monday at 4 PM as part of the Summer Reading Program, and it's open to both adults and teens. We can't wait to get creative with you!

Registration is required to participate, and supplies are limited.

Color our world by making nature-inspired art pieces and learn about science along the way. For ages 9 and up. All skill levels welcome! Registration required. This class will be in English.

Attention adults! Join us for gentle exercises every Tuesday morning during the Summer Reading Program. In Mindful Movements, we will include fitness from Sit and Be Fit, Tai Chi, yoga and more! It's ideal for anyone with limited mobility. Bring your own towel and some water!

Come join us for Trivia Night! Our topic this month is Doctor Who. Doors open at 6:00pm. Groups can be from 2-5. Solos are welcome! Online registration required. For questions, call or inquire at the front desk.

Hey adults! Are you a book lover or wanting to get into reading? Then come join Shelf-ish Book Club! The monthly book selections are a diverse array of fiction and graphic novels. We meet typically every fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Feel free to contact the library or visit us for any questions.
