Curious to try a new way of painting? Want to chill and vibe out to the sweet, melodious sounds of Bob Ross’ voice? Then this program is for you! We will be following along with the tutorial Lakeside Cabin (Season 10 Episode 13 of The Joy of Painting). All necessary supplies to complete the tutorial will be provided. This program is for adults 18+.

This program is presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Better Living for Texans. This free gardening course teaches soil prep, planting, and harvesting. The instructor will cover selecting plants, planting techniques, maintenance, and other tips. Participants gain skills to grow produce and confidence for lifelong gardening over 6 sessions. All classes will take place on a Thursday evening from 5-6PM. 

Registration is required and parents are welcome to attend with children. Please contact us if you have any questions about the program or registration!

Savvy Stitchers is a friendly group of crafters of all ages, getting together for fellowship while enjoying their creative hobbies. It is a great way to meet neighbors that have a mutual love for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, or other crafts. We all love to learn something new!

Join each Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00PM.

Join us for a one-shot campaign to learn game play basics in a collaborative and fun environment! No registration is required and snacks will be provided.

NOTE: this is a young adult program and is aimed at ages 13 through 18. Content may not be appropriate for younger children. Children under age 13 may attend at their parent or guardian's discretion.

Help save lives and earn donor incentives by donating blood on Tuesday, June 24th, any time between 1:30-5:00 PM at Katherine Tyra Branch Library. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will have their donor bus parked outside taking appointments and walk-ins. 

4.2 million Americans need a blood transfusion each year, but only 3% of the population donates blood.
