Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

You're invited to attend Story Time every Tuesday at 11 am. 


Story Time is a great way for children to build early literacy skills with stories, rhymes and songs. Parents are encouraged to participate by sitting with children and singing (and learning!) new songs. 

Last half hour is craft time! 

Children of all ages are welcome.

Join the library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!

This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize. 

Siblings are always welcome. 

We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located. 

No registration or tickets required.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.

Siblings are always welcome.

This program is held in our library meeting room.

No registration or tickets required.
