You're invited to attend Story Time every Tuesday at 11 am. 


Story Time is a great way for children to build early literacy skills with stories, rhymes and songs. Parents are encouraged to participate by sitting with children and singing (and learning!) new songs. 

Last half hour is craft time! 

Children of all ages are welcome.

Join the library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!

Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance.

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.

Note: Librarians will not do the homework nor can we guarantee any grades; this program is here to offer assistance answering questions.

Join the Jacinto City Branch Library for our Family Place Workshop from 11am-12pm every Monday from March 2nd - March 30th! This five-week program is designed to be a fun resource for parents & guardians to connect and play with their children, other families, all while connecting with professionals on early childhood themes. Professionals from across the Jacinto City area will join us each week to provide insight and resources to help inform and support your growing family.

High Meadows Library is partnering with Neighborhood Forest to provide families with FREE NATIVE TEXAS TREES for kids to plant during Earth Week! Sign-ups are open now until March 15th via https://www.neighborhoodforest... 

Trees are set to arrive in time for Earth Day 2025 (April 22nd). Registered parents will be notified when their tree(s) are ready to be picked up. 

Only registered parties will receive trees. You must sign up by March 15th to receive a tree.

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize. 

Siblings are always welcome. 

We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located. 

No registration or tickets required.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!

Join AndyRoo on a musical journey to the Andyrooniverse — a magical place created by the ever-expanding landscape of children’s imaginations, where you’ll encounter Sy the Sloth, Podgy the Platypus, and a big balloon that will whisk you away to a whole universe of exciting, animated characters. Using storytelling, music making, and movement, this program teaches children about individuality, togetherness, and kindness through an active listening experience.
