We’re so excited to announce that Family Place is coming to the High Meadows Branch Library! This special five-week series is designed to support parents and caregivers in a welcoming, relaxed environment where you can nurture your child’s development through play.
Each week, you’ll have the chance to connect with other local families and meet a different professional from across Harris County. These experts will share helpful tips, practical tools, and fresh ideas on early childhood themes to support your growing family.
Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.
*Recommended for children ages 5-11, under 5 must have an accompanying adult.
Every child has an artist inside them! At our Art Club, they will enjoy a variety of activities whether it be painting, drawing, coloring and much more! All materials provided.

Experience the magic of two languages at our Bilingual Storytime, specially designed for children ages 5 to 8 years old. Each week features a fresh, exciting theme—from high-tech Robots to mythical Dragons. We go beyond the book with interactive games and hands-on instrument play to keep older kids engaged and moving. Join us for some family friendly fun! Each month we will be showing a family friendly movie and at the end there will be a chance to vote for next months showing.
