Join the High Meadows Library and The Michelle Project for a special Saturday story time! These interactive story times are suitable for all ages and abilities. We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!
Join the Library and Mercer Botanical Gardens for a prehistoric adventure!
Meet at the library and walk with us to Mercer, where young explorers will discover the world of dinosaurs through hands-on activities and interactive stations. Search for clues in a Dinosaurs of Texas scavenger hunt, create your own fossil rubbing, enjoy dinosaur-themed coloring activities, and dig into sensory play. It's a roaring good time for families who love dinosaurs, nature, and adventure!

Discovery Time with Miss Christine is a fun and engaging story time for the whole family! Each week, we build literacy skills through the five essential practices: playing, singing, talking, reading, and writing.
For: Pre-School & Elementary (ages 3 to 10 years old). Younger siblings may participate with the active support of a parent or caregiver as long as they do not disrupt the program.
How to Attend:
Get ready to create, explore, and have fun!
Join us each month for our Kids Craft & STEM Days, designed especially for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Participants will enjoy hands-on craft activities that spark creativity, plus one exciting STEM program each month where kids can experiment, build, and discover through science, technology, engineering, and math.
Join us for a DINO-MITE film festival every Friday.
1:00 to 3:30 p.m., kids under 10 can enjoy fun, age-appropriate dinosaur themed cartoons and movies.
3:30 to 6:00 p.m., tweens and adults can experience thrilling dinosaur adventures.
It's a ROARING good time for all ages!
Make whatever you like in our freebuild time or choose from one of our challenge cards. We have OVER 6,000 lego to build with! Open to ages 3-12. Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
