Our Chapter Champions (teens) are ready to guide your Story Seekers (children; grades K-3rd) through the wonders of the written word in stories, information, and books. The Literacy League is a literacy program to provide teen mentorship and guidance to K-3rd graders pursuant to establishing and promoting a culture of literacy and books at the library and beyond into their home Reading Refuge.

The Friends of Freeman Library invite you to our Porch Book Sale! Browse a whole porch full of books for all ages at unbeatable prices. Explore a large selection of clearance fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, paperbacks, DVDs, and CDs. You’ll also find exclusive book-themed merchandise from the Friends of Freeman, including mugs, tote bags, and bookmarks. 

All proceeds support Freeman Library programs and services.

Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5: 30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.
