It's that time again! Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings teens and children (Kinder-3rd) together to share the joy of reading. This is a 10 week program that meets once a week for 45 minutes. Our first meeting will be September 11th so sign up now! For more information click here.

Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance.

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.

Note: Librarians will not do the homework nor can we guarantee any grades; this program is here to offer assistance answering questions.

Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.

*Recommended for children ages 5-11, under 5 must have an accompanying adult.

Learn from docents from the Houston Museum of Natural Science about how living organisms are transformed into fossils and discover what fossils reveal about prehistoric life. Participation is limited to 40 people, so be sure and sign up at the front desk to reserve your spot! Once you have signed up, please check in within 10 minutes of the program start time. If you have not checked in within 10 minutes of the program start time, your spot can be released.
