Zarate Like Karate will be hosting a FREE women's self defense class!

Learn practical, easy-to-remember techniques that could make all the difference in a tough situation.

What you'll learn:

• Effective self defense moves for real-life situations
• How to improve awareness and avoid danger
• Confidence-building techniques
• Simple but powerful strategies for any skill level

Are you ready to learn English? Are you looking for a way to improve your English conversation skills?

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email or call the branch. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.

In this summer course, community member and library volunteer, Mrs. Rhee, will teach the Korean language through songs, such as Arirang and Doraji.

Go Green Crafts meet once a month to repurpose different things to go green all year long!
Join us in the Baldwin Boettcher Library conference room where we will be taking recycled straws and acrylic paint to create a firework scene on canvas to celebrate the 4th of July & Texas 250!

It is for ages 18 & up. Registration is required but all supplies are provided.
