Harris County Tax Office wants to help taxpayers lower their tax burden, through protesting their values and applying for exemptions. The Property Tax Workshops will cover how taxes are calculated, types of exemptions available, how to protest your value and payment plans for delinquent taxes.

Slots are 12:00-12:30, 12:30-1:00, 4:00-4:30, and 4:30-5:00.

Do you love crafting? Do you love caffeine? Join the arts & crafts program Make & Wake where we do a new project every month while sipping on coffee or tea, provided by the library. Feel free to bring your own cup of love to drink during the program. This occurs every first Tuesday of each month at 11am.
For this month, we will create a hot glue and painting masterpiece on canvas.

AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Fairbanks Branch Library. This service will be available Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Service Begins: Monday, February 2, 2025 – Ends: Monday, April 13, 2025. No Service on Saturday, April 4 due to Easter Holiday.
This program is free and available to the public. You do NOT have to be a member of AARP, nor are there income or age limits on who can use this free service.
