Do you have questions about various kinds of technology? Then we encourage you to come to our Technology Question & Answer Hour on Thursday, March 26 from 10:15 to 11:15 AM! In this 60-minute session, Freeman Library Staff will address queries on desktops/laptops, smartphones, digital tablets, HCPL eMedia, and more.

This free event will NOT require registration.

Adults – the Next Chapter Monday Matinee continues Monday, March 23 at 2:00 PM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to seeing Freakier Friday, the 2025 body swap comedy sequel. This film stars Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal, and Manny Jacinto. Rated PG, this film lasts 1 hour, 50 minutes, and includes closed captions.

Adults – we welcome you to join us in the upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom on Thursday, March 19 at 10:15 AM to the Next Chapter’s presentation in the Lone Star Flight Museum Lecture Series. Ronnie Alford looks forward to presenting "Rosie the Riveter – An Iconic Symbol of Women's Wartime Contributions.” This free event requires no registration.

Family Playdate Workshop

The Family Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.
