Financial Literacy 101 for Young Adults is designed to help participants build a strong financial foundation by learning how to make informed money decisions before financial challenges arise. This session will explore the importance of being proactive rather than reactive when it comes to budgeting, saving, credit, debt management, and long-term financial planning. The presentation focuses on helping attendees develop healthy financial habits and gain the knowledge needed to make confident financial decisions throughout life.

Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.
The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.

Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.
Join Crystal as we use air-dry clay in order to create little dinosaurs or pencil buddies for you to take and display at home! Clay will be slimy for those with sensory issues.
All Materials provided. This is a come and go event while supplies last.

Let’s celebrate an amazing summer full of fun reading, cool crafts, and lots of engaging activities! We’ll be hosting a “Chalk the Block” event, where everyone can help decorate the library parking lot with the most creative chalk drawings you can imagine.
