A weekly Computer Class for Adult Beginners to discover and improve their skills in this increasingly high-tech age. Every week we learn by doing Word, Excel, Email, PDF, Internet Safety, Google Searches, HCPL resources and more!  Must have a library card to attend.

With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.

This class is for people who already know a little about using a computer and want to learn Microsoft Excel. Over 6 weeks, we will practice navigating the grid, formatting with color and borders, sorting lists alphabetically, and using tools to let the computer do the math for you! The class meets one hour per week and is hands-on, beginner-friendly, and focused on learning skills by doing practical but fun projects.

Join the Barbara Bush Branch Library in welcoming the Kaminari Thunderstudies for a musical performance unlike any other!

Do you love the strong, rhythmic beat of drums? There's something special about the drumline in any performance. Taiko is a traditional form of drumming from Japan and we are so excited to bring this performance to you!

This event will be outside in the grassy area between The Pearl Fincher Museum and the N. Greenfield Dr. entrance to Collins Park. Please bring blankets to sit on.
