Explore a large selection of clearance fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, paperbacks, DVDs, and CDs. You’ll also find exclusive book-themed merchandise from the Friends of Freeman, including mugs, tote bags, and bookmarks.
All proceeds support Freeman Library programs and services.
Step into history and explore the people, places, and events that shaped our country. The American Revolution Experience, a collaborative project of the American Battlefield Trust and the Daughters of the American Revolution is coming to Freeman Library!
The exhibition display panels and interactive kiosks use storytelling and illustration to connect visitors with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation. The exhibit will be on display at Freeman Library from April 27th through May 16th, 2026, during regular library business hours.
Savvy Stitchers is a friendly group of crafters of all ages, getting together for fellowship while enjoying their creative hobbies. It is a great way to meet neighbors that have a mutual love for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, or other crafts. We all love to learn something new!

What we offer:
Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
De-stress, unwind, and enjoy the almost-magical calm that comes from painting with watercolors.
Each week features a different theme -- we'll have some inspiration and supplies ready for you! But feel free to create something else if you'd like.
Want pointers on painting techniques? We'll do our best to help! But please keep in mind that this is not an art class -- it's a chance to be creative and relax while enjoying each other's company in an encouraging environment.

Registrants will learn how to set up and use a sewing machine in order to create a snap pouch.
No prior sewing experience is needed and all supplies for this project will be provided by the library.
Space is limited and registration is required. This program is for Adults only and will meet in the Computer Lab.
