Master the basic word processing tools featured in Word. The focus is on using the basic components of Microsoft Word. Participants will complete a take-home using the skills learned during the class. Participants need to bring their own USB/thumb drive.

In partnership with Barbara Bush Library’s First Responder and Trunk or Treat event, join the Early Learning Quality Network on October 30th at 10am for a community exchange for families with young children. Children may choose one book from our ELQN book fair. Families will have the opportunity to donate gently used children’s books, canned goods, and baby supplies in exchange for up to an additional 5 new books per family from our book fair. This orientation session will instruct participants on how to use the Epson Fastfoto, a high-speed photo scanning system in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use the Fastfoto machines at HCPL branches and MakerCentral, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attendees will also receive the Fastfoto badge in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
