Our friends with Mad About Hoops are coming to show off their crazy skills with the circle, also known as the hula-hoop. They'll wow and dazzle you with their acrobatic skills and quick hula-hoop tricks.
This event will be hosted by our generous neighbors at the George H. W. Bush Community Center, Room 226. There is no age restriction, so bring the whole family. This event is free with no ticket required.

Design a one-of-a-kind canvas book bag to carry all your favorite stories. This fun, family-friendly program celebrates the literacy legacies of Barbara Bush and Dolly Parton. After the program, families are invited to sign up for the summer reading program and check out books to begin their summer reading adventure.

Starting May 1, stop by the Crosby Library to sign up for a weekly take-home mystery available this summer. Tweens and teens ages 9 and up are invited to take part in this thrilling case to uncover the Mystery of the Missing Bigfoot.
This detective-style whodunit includes six mystery packets to be solved over the course of the summer. Registration is required - please see the front desk for details and registration
It's time to sing and dance with Andyroo and the Andyrooniverse at the Dinosaur Party! In this interactive concert, you'll wave your little arms like a T-Rex, run like a Velociraptor, and bop like a Triceratops while Andyroo sings his dinosaur hits from the Mesozoic Era to the modern day. Does your closet have pieces you don't wear anymore? Looking to change up your wardrobe? Here's your chance to do so! Participants can bring new or gently used clothing items (shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, skirts, dresses) during the weeks of June 14-July 7. A limit of 10 clothing items per participant can be dropped off. One ticket will be given for each item donated that participants can then use to trade for clothing on the day of the program. All remaining clothing items will be donated to charity.

Join us at this special Preschool Story Time for a 30-minute singing and storytelling presentation of Tess Weaver's Opera Cat by a teaching artist from the Houston Grand Opera! Opera Cat is a humorous, heartwarming story about a special relationship between a cat and her owner. Alma the cat lives with Madame SoSo, an opera diva. When Madame rehearses, Alma softly sings along.
