The bird world is full of fascinating species! Participants will learn bird biology, act out common bird behaviors, and investigate how unique adaptations help birds thrive in their habitats. Touchable biofacts such as bones, talons, and feathers add new layers of fun as we learn about our feathered friends.
This program is geared for ages 5 and up. 
Space is limited. First come, first served.

Wish You Were Here – Footprints Through Time
When you discover a mysterious suitcase filled with expedition tools, you’ll use your imagination and senses to search for dinosaur fossils! Journey through the jungle, dig for bones at an excavation site, rescue dinosaurs from tar pits, and collect dino eggs—just be careful of the earth-shaking volcano!

“Healthy Relationships” is a supportive and engaging talk for teens about building positive relationships with friends, family, and partners. Participants will learn about communication, respect, boundaries, and making healthy choices while gaining skills to build confidence and stronger connections with others.

This program is for ages 14-17.

Join us for an educational program that teaches children and families how to safely interact with animals, practice responsible pet care, and support animal welfare in the community. Hosted in partnership with the South Houston Animal Shelter, the program teaches safety and awareness through fun and informative activities.

This program is open to all ages.

Ready to become a Pokémon Trainer? Join us for a Pokemon Workshop, where you can learn how to play the Pokemon card game, play some practice battles, and even take home a starter deck! 

Cards will be provided. This program is for all ages.

Join Gaby for a guided painting session! Kids will learn how to create their masterpiece, from start to finish in one session. Kids will also discuss basic color theory concepts, such as mixing, matching and contrasting as well as using art to evoke emotions. Every month will have a different theme.

This month’s painting will be evening camp scene, just in for the Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story”, sign up for the program here.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses stories, songs and finger plays, and a craft or activity to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers.
This story time is geared towards kids ages 3 - 6 years.

Children and adults must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.
