Summer Reading Program

Magician John O’ Bryant will be visiting Spring Branch Memorial Library for a special after hours Summer Reading Magic Show. It is filled with amazing magic, family-friendly comedy, audience participation, and more incredible surprises! John’s high-energy shows have made him a crowd favorite at libraries across Texas! Come be part of the excitement at the library! This program is geared for ages 3 and up. 
Please register to attend! Adults need to be in attendance with children. Adults need to register themselves along with children. 

Tweens! Will you survive the night and discover who among you is a werewolf?? Tweens ages 8-12 can join us on Tuesday, July 21st at 4:00pm to play Werewolf.

Werewolf is a roleplaying game where everyone is dealt a secret role. Villagers will try to discover who is a secret werewolf before it's too late! 

Recommended for children ages 3-12. Drop in to create a no mess painted butterfly, a butterfly mural to decorate the Children's Department and one mystery craft.

*No tickets are required* This is a come and go program so the room might be crowded or empty when you arrive.  Lines to enter the room sometimes form before the doors open. Please plan accordingly. *

It's tea time—prehistoric style!

Join us for a Jurassic-themed tea party inspired by the age when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

This is an adults-only program, but you don't need an adults-only mindset to attend. Come ready for fun!

Come Dressed to Impress! Fancy hats, explorer gear, full dino flair, etc!

Recommended for children ages 4-12. Tommy Terrific presents A Magical Dinosaur Dig! This interactive magic show features a giant magic trunk filled with dinosaur fossils and exploration tools. With the help of the Magician’s Handbook, kids guide Tommy on a magical adventure where the world of dinosaurs comes alive in wacky and unexpected ways. From the T. rex to the Triceratops and beyond, young audiences will uncover fun facts about dinosaurs and the age in which they lived.

Learn how to design your own flyer with Canva. Choose from a large variety of graphics, images and text to create your flyer. At the end of the class, I will print out the flyer for you to take home!

Aprende a diseñar tu propio volante con el sitio web de Canva. Un volante se puede usar para promocionar eventos o para informar. Usaras graficos, texto y imagenes para crear tu volante. Al final de la clase, imprimiré tu volante para que se lo lleve.

Hang out at the library and play a game of teamwork and betrayal. We'll play Among Us on Tuesday, July 14th at 3:30pm.

All equipment provided. Space limited. Pick up free tickets at the front desk 15 minutes before the program starts to secure your spot. This program is for ages 8-18.

We will be putting our learning from the past 2 weeks to create ate our very own card on Canva! You can make a holiday card, a birthday card or any occasion. You can send me a picture by email so that it can be included in your card. At the end of the class, I will print out the card for you to take home.
