Excavate some excitement this summer at this weekly arts and crafts program! Each week we'll create a new work of art and learn about archaeology, dinosaurs, and history along the way.
This program is designed for tweens and teens ages 12 to 18.
Registration is not required, but supplies and space may be limited.
Wish You Were Here – Footprints Through Time
When you discover a mysterious suitcase filled with expedition tools, you’ll use your imagination and senses to search for dinosaur fossils! Journey through the jungle, dig for bones at an excavation site, rescue dinosaurs from tar pits, and collect dino eggs—just be careful of the earth-shaking volcano!

Craft Program for Kids
Get creative with Ms. Krystle in this hands-on dinosaur-themed craft program. Children will explore art, design, and imagination while creating fun prehistoric projects.
Activities are designed to support creativity and self-expression.
Storytime for Toddlers
Join Ms. Sharon for a lively, interactive storytime designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will enjoy singing, movement, and simple dinosaur-themed stories in a fun and welcoming environment.
This program includes songs, early literacy activities, and a hands-on craft.
Join us for an engineering challenge at Jacinto City Library! This month's challenge is ... cardboard boats!
Create a boat out of craft materials then put it to the test! Let's see who can hold the most weight! The top 3 boats will get a prize!

Unleash your creativity and transform ordinary rocks into miniature works of art! Join us for a relaxing and fun evening of rock painting at the library. Whether you are an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, this program is perfect for all skill levels.
We'll provide the rock, paints and supplies--you bring the imagination. Create a colorful decoration for your home or garden, design an inspirational kindness rock to share with the community or simply enjoy a creative night out.
