Each week features a fresh, exciting theme—from high-tech Robots to mythical Dragons. We go beyond the book with interactive games and hands-on instrument play to keep older kids engaged and moving. Join us for age appropriate stories, songs and crafts to engage toddlers and their parents. Have fun while promoting pre literacy skills! For toddlers 18 months through 3 years old.
Join us for a morning of board books, songs, parachute play, and bubbles at Baby Time-for our tiniest patrons and their caregivers! This program is a wonderful way to encourage your child’s language development, early literacy, and connect with other parents!
Recommend for school-age children ages 5-12. Join us for an afternoon of board games! Challenge friends or yourself with a variety of puzzles and games. No tickets required.
Recommended for all ages. Join Marsha's Zoo for an afternoon of cuteness! View and pet a variety of animals. Event will be held in the parking lot on the Diana street side of the library. No tickets required.
Recommended for children 3 years and older. Come one, come all where your only limit is your imagination. There will be multiple craft and coloring stations at this come and go Crafternoon! No tickets required.
Enjoy some time to bond with your baby and meet new friends. This program is for babies and will feature lap-sit stories, songs, activities and time to socialize with others. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination. A free ticket is required and can be picked up at the information desk 30 minutes prior to the program.
Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.
