Sunshine Baby Time is an early literacy program for babies up to 18 months and their caregivers. Please join us as we share early literacy tips, stories, songs, and fun!
In order to ensure the safety of our youngest patrons, this is a ticketed program. Free tickets will be available in the library on the morning of the program. First come, first served.
The Houston Ballet’s Dance to Learn program brings the magic of movement to our youngest explorers, specifically tailored for children ages 3 to 5.
This creative initiative transforms early childhood milestones—like discovering science and social studies—into an active, kinesthetic adventure. By blending core curriculum with dance, the program helps preschoolers build self-expression, motor skills, and confidence, ensuring they stay engaged and energized while they learn.

Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.

Join us every Monday at 11:30 AM for a Storytime adventure tailored for our friends aged 0 to 6. Whether your little one is a cuddly newborn or a curious local explorer, they'll love our mix of whimsical tales, catchy songs, and active rhymes. Bring along a favorite stuffed animal or a cozy blanket and let’s make some magic together! 📖👶🥁🎶
Recommended for babies 0 to 18 months old. Join us to celebrate our littlest loves with this love-themed bash! This program will include a festive craft, toys, and a photo booth to capture the memories.
Family Playdate Workshop
The Family Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.
Recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. Dance, shake, wiggle, and wear your child out with dancing, physical movement, and rhythm-based activities. You're never too young to P-A-R-T-Y.
