Hey Teens, get ready for wren season with us! 🐦

We’re turning old fence pickets into brand-new wren homes. Come help us repurpose and build your own birdhouse—one picket, one house, one happy wren. We’ll provide all materials, tools, and hardware—just bring yourself!

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Baby Storytime with Ms. Amanda! We will read stories, have tummy time, and sing songs. Look forward to lots of wiggles, giggles, and play. Caregivers are encouraged to stay after to play and build community connections.

This program is for babies from 0 up to 18 months old.*

Is your shirt missing a few buttons? A favorite stuffed animal losing its stuffing? Join us for the Hand Sewing & Mending class taught by volunteers from the Houston chapter of the American Sewing Guild

Learn how to:

  • Hand stitch
  • Repair stuffed animals
  • Repair hems 
  • Re-attach loose/missing buttons

All ages are welcome, but class will require use of scissors and other sewing tools.

Join us on Fridays at 1PM to craft and chat. We focus on knitting and crochet and make items to donate to local charities. 

We are happy to help old and new crafters with their projects, but this is not a formal class. 

Please bring your own supplies.
