Do you need time to unwind? We know adulting can be hard sometimes, so we have a program for all you adults out there all year and especially this summer! The Adult Coloring Club meets the last Tuesday of each month at 2 pm for 1 hour of coloring, music, and great conversation. It now takes place in the conference room of the Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is required & all supplies are provided. We look forward to seeing you in our library building!

Join us for a 'Gabby's Dollhouse' themed story time, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage!

"Turn the Page" is a weekly story time filled with stories, songs, movement, interactive elements, and sensory play to further develop your child's literary, cognitive, and social skills.

*Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers.

Get ready to get spooky at Baldwin Boettcher Library! We’re having a decoration extravaganza to get ready for Halloween! Open to all ages, we're looking for volunteers to help transform the library into a haunted haven. No crafting experience needed; materials provided. Come create spooky decorations and enjoy getting into the Halloween spirit! All decorations will be put up on October 1st!

Join us for our weekly after school STEAM club, and help us finish out the month with a Cat themed book discussion! Pick any book to read with a cat character and come ready to share your love of reading with others. Book suggestions: Inside Cat, Splat the Cat, Stick Cat, Crenshaw, The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza, etc.

This orientation session is intended for teen volunteers and attendance is by invitation only. To apply to be a teen volunteer at Baldwin Boettcher Library, applicants must complete an application packet, be between the ages of 15-18, have their guardian’s permission, and attend one orientation session. During this hour-long session, volunteers will learn their role in the library, train in skills such as shelving, and finalize their schedules for volunteer hours.

Join us for our weekly after school STEAM club, and help us continue our cat themed month with a Cardboard Cat yarn art project!

"Off the Hook" is a fiber arts-based program where kids will use different elements, such as yarn or fabric, and different techniques, such as crochet or sewing, to complete an art project.

*Recommended for children ages 5-11, younger siblings are welcome with a parent or guardian.

The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library hosts English classes for adults ages 18+ who are interested in learning to speak the English language or improve their English-speaking skills. We teach basic English grammar subjects and words that relate to basic life skills. The students have the opportunity to practice speaking the English language with other students.

Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. You must complete an English placement assessment to join the class. Taking this class will not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Classical Sing Move Play classes provide an introduction to melody, rhythm, instrument play time, and movement with music from famous operas and classical symphonies to folk songs.

The Music of Mexico class, led by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, will explore some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.

Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.
