Every week, young scientists and artists ages 5-10 will dive into a brand-new hands-on project that blends the worlds of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. From building structural towers out of seasonal treats to uncovering the hidden chemistry inside fall leaves, each session features a different interactive craft.

October is Gulf Coast Reads. What is that you may ask, well it is an annual regional reading initiative that encourages people across Southeast Texas to read or listen to the same selected book during the month of October. This year’s pick is The Librarians by Sherry Thomas. It is a contemporary workplace mystery set in a small branch library in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, where the quiet routines of four diverse staff members—Hazel, Jonathan, Astrid, and Sophie—are upended when two patrons are found murdered after the library's inaugural murder mystery game night.
Express yourself with the beauty of watercolors! In this beginner-friendly program, we'll learn techniques and skills to make beautiful art. Learn the basics of wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, brush strokes, and color blending and theory. This program builds each week with new techniques, so regular attendance is encouraged. All supplies provided.

If your student is struggling with math or has a simple question, come see Ms. Patricia for some one-on-one help! Each student should bring a homework or school work that they need help with. This program is for students in 4th to 12th grade. Registration is online, but walk-ins may be accepted.
