Calling all tweens? Do you enjoy reading? Are you looking for people to talk about what you’ve just read? Are you down for some book related activities?
If your answer is yes to all of the above, sign up for our tween book club to join us for a lively discussion along with a fun activity.
This program is for ages 9-12.
Registration is required.
We will meet in-person in the Spring Branch Memorial Library Meeting Room.
Once registered, you will be contacted when a copy of the book is available for pick up.

Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from September 8th - November 17th, 2025. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.

Join us for this once a month program that teaches children how to manage their emotions using a playful approach.
During the program, children will play games, practice animal themed yoga poses and end class with a mini-meditation to help them reduce anxiety and increase feelings of wellness.
This program is for kids ages 3-6.
Space is limited. Register to reserve a spot for the program. (If registering for multiple children, will need to complete registration for each child.)
Tweens aged 9-12 can choose from a selection of board games to play with friends new and old at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Tuesday, October 21 at 4:30pm!
Teens ages 13-18 can join us at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library once a month to earn an hour of volunteer credit by doing a project for a local community organization!
Join the Page Turners for a lively book discussion once a month. This month we'll be reading The Faculty Lounge by Jennifer Mathieu.
Use your creativity & engineering skills to make an edible haunted house! We'll use graham crackers, spooky candy, and frosting to create a monstrosity. Teens ages 13-18 can register to play the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own dice and wear a costume!
Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
Join us for a free,12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
