Teens ages 13-18 can register to play the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library! Want to know what happens when the Pumpkin King from Halloween Town decides that he wants to be in charge of Christmas? Join us on Tuesday, December 16th at 4:00pm to find out! We'll also make s’mores while we watch the movie.
This program will last from 4-5:45pm and is intended for ages 8-18. It starts a little earlier than usual and it is a busy time of year, so feel free to come and go.
Make the only kind of snowman we have in Texas, a melted one! We'll make melted snowman calm down jars on Wednesday, December 10th at 4:15pm. Calm down jars, or sensory bottles, are clear, sealed containers filled with liquid and a variety of small objects like glitter, beads, or sequins. Children can shake, roll, turn, and observe the contents — offering a relaxing, focused activity that's as beautiful as it is beneficial. We can always use a little calm around this busy time of year!
All ages are invited to bring gifts to be wrapped with wrapping paper provided by the library, or choose gifts by browsing our Friends of the Spring Branch-Memorial Library's Second Chance Books on Thursday, December 11th at 4:30pm. Gift wrap provided.
Teen volunteers will be helping to wrap gifts as a way to give back to the community.
There will be refreshments!
