Join us for this once a month program that teaches children how to manage their emotions using a playful approach.
During the program, children will play games, practice animal themed yoga poses and end class with a mini-meditation to help them reduce anxiety and increase feelings of wellness.
This program is for kids ages 3-6.
Space is limited. Register to reserve a spot for the program. (If registering for multiple children, will need to complete registration for each child.)
Join us for a monthly event designed to help reluctant or shy readers gain confidence, with the help of some very good dogs. Paws for Therapy will provide trained therapy dogs, ready to help your child practice their reading! Each participant will get 10 minutes to read a book of their choice to a friendly, non-judgmental dog. It’s guaranteed to be a doggone good time.
Reserve your spot the day of the event by selecting a time slot on our sign-up sheet 30 minutes prior to the program.
To register for the class, you must take an in-person placement exam.
Enjoy this presentation by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston where you will view images of crafts created by African Americans as they are portrayed in the collections of the museum. Don't miss learning about the importance of African Americans crafts in our culture.
