Dress Up Day: American 1800s
Step back in time to the 1800s! Children will meet a special guest from the past, explore daily life long ago, and create toys inspired by the era. In celebration of American Girl's 40th anniversary, each participant will also receive a special book to take home.

How to Join: Visit the library to register and take a short test.
It's the end of the world as we know it! Will you join the rebellion or the repressive government? Teams will draw up battle plans and compete to see who will prevail. Read to Level 1 in the Atascocita Summer Reading Challenge to get your party pass for this evening of interactive gaming. This program is for ages 12-18 years old and permission slips are required.

After the program, families are invited to sign up for the summer reading program and check out books to begin their summer reading adventure.
