Black History Month is an annual celebration to honor the achievements and history of African Americans in the U.S. Join us as we celebrate with a Maker craft, popcorn and the movie, 'Hidden Figures (PG)'. For the Maker Craft, participants will learn about asymmetry while decorating laser-cut masks inspired by the artist Kimmy Cantrell.

Tea Party Time! Grab your toddlers and wear your finest dresses and suits for a short storytime followed by tea (applejuice) and crumpets (mini-muffins and fruits). We will have some easy crafts and toys for entertainment.
And Yes, we will be wearing tiaras and crowns and of course we have to take lots of pictures!

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email us at pw@hcpl.net, or call the branch at 832-927-7870. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.
