Classical Sing! Move! Play! is coming to the Northwest Branch Library. Discover how classical music and kids go hand in hand. Today's class will explore the music of Tchaikovsky from the Nutcracker in a 45 minute music and movement class. This class is perfect for children ages 2-5.
Tickets will be provided 30 minutes before the program at the information desk. Space is limited.
This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.

This unique and excellent two-actor adaptation was toured by The Lincoln Center. This delightfully theatrical and engaging adaptation brings the full story to life and captures the power of Lewis' famous novel in a short space.

Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 17th to November 19th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.

Enjoy some time to bond with your baby and meet new friends. This program is for babies and will feature lap-sit stories, songs, activities and time to socialize with others. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination. A free ticket is required and can be picked up at the information desk 30 minutes prior to the program.
Come hang out with some adult coloring pages, explore watercolors, try your hand at sketching or bring your own art project to work on. Materials are provided at this two hour chill sesh.
