Celebrate Juneteenth at the library with free lunch and learn more about the traditions, history, and importance of this holiday! Did you know Juneteenth celebrations first began right here in Texas?

There will be a short presentation on Juneteenth with an emphasis on culinary traditions. Snacks and refreshments will be served. All ages welcome and no registration required.

Start the summer with a dinosaur craft! We will be creating and decorating dinosaur eggs using paper mache. Perhaps a surprise will hatch from your egg?

On day one we will create the eggs using paper mache, and on day two we will decorate the eggs.

NOTE: This is a two day event. You must attend day one to participate in day two. This program is best suited for children aged 6 and up. All children must be accompanied.

You've seen the movie but have you ever read the book? 

This summer reading book club is reading Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. Borrow a copy from the library and join us for discussion, even if you have already read it!

Snacks and refreshments will be served. This book club is for adult readers.

Wish You Were Here – Footprints Through Time
When you discover a mysterious suitcase filled with expedition tools, you’ll use your imagination and senses to search for dinosaur fossils! Journey through the jungle, dig for bones at an excavation site, rescue dinosaurs from tar pits, and collect dino eggs—just be careful of the earth-shaking volcano!

*Best suited for PreK–5th grade, but designed to be fun and engaging for all ages, including younger children and adults.
