During this weeklong camp at the library, students will experience hands-on activities and art creation to understand “Benthic Communities” or what is at the bottom of the ocean. This orientation session will introduce participants to the 3D printing services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a 3D printer at any HCPL branch that has one. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
All registrants will need to make an account in Beanstack in order to book an appointment to use the machine.
Express Children's Theatre presents An Art Class for Kids with Frida Kahlo, commissioned by Rothko Chapel. Through a fun, time-bending adventure, the legendary artist Frida Kahlo travels from 1940s Mexico to teach a creative art class! Participants will learn about Frida's life and artistic style while creating their own self-portraits using crayons and colored pencils.
