Calling all teens and tweens! This is your space to relax and unwind. Draw and color, play some games, do a craft, or hang out with your friends—the possibilities are endless!

No registration is required. This event is open to ages 12 to 18.

Travel through time and experience life, art, and history through the eyes of African American women who have done AMAZING things to make the world a better place! Fly with Bessie Coleman, dance with Josephine Baker, and make art with Faith Ringgold!

Free tickets are required and are available at the Kid's Reference Desk at 10 AM. 

Due to space limitations, only one adult per child is permitted.

Description: Learn knitting, crochet, macramé, and embroidery basics!

Additional Info: Start new projects or bring a current project to work on. You will have the opportunity to display your finished project in the library!

A Family Board Game Night

Dice, cards, and everything in between! Drop in to A Series of Unfortunate Dice Rolls, a casual family board game night for ages 7-13. Siblings and parents are welcome to join the fun.

  • No ticket or registration required!
  • First Tuesday of each month from 4:30 - 5:30 PM.

Spring into a new hobby! In this program you will learn about a new hobby every week such as gardening or jewelry making, and get a chance to try out! The goal of this program is to spark a child's interest in learning a new hobby. This program is for children in Kindergarten- 5th grade.

Join us at the Crosby Library for Plot Twisters, a monthly book club where we sample a variety of books in different formats (including print and audiobooks) and come back together the next month to talk about what we’ve been reading. Discover new stories, try new formats, and see which plots really twist your brain!

Do you think you know a little about women's history? Would you like to learn more about iconic women, then and now, and their contributions to society and different fields of knowledge? 

Come to the library and solve an escape room about iconic women, in history and today's time. Solve puzzles, decipher clues, and race against the ticking clock. 

All materials provided. This program is designed for grades 6-12 only.
