Join us for a fun, hands-on crafting experience where participants of all ages can create their own unique dream catchers to take home. Whether you’re a crafting expert or trying something new, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity and enjoy an afternoon of art and imagination. A zine is a hand-made magazine or mini-comic about anything you can imagine! Use your imagination and stretch your creativity to express yourself and your ideas through this versatile medium. This beginner-friendly program builds each week with new techniques, so regular attendance is encouraged. All supplies provided.

Learn how to create a strong, professional resume that highlights your skills, education, and experience. This workshop will guide participants through resume basics, formatting tips, and how to tailor a resume for jobs, internships, or college programs.
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
In partnership with Barbara Bush Library’s First Responder and Trunk or Treat event, join the Early Learning Quality Network on October 30th at 10am for a community exchange for families with young children. Children may choose one book from our ELQN book fair. Families will have the opportunity to donate gently used children’s books, canned goods, and baby supplies in exchange for up to an additional 5 new books per family from our book fair. Items donated will benefit Barbara Bush Library’s food pantry, the Library Frien
