Join us at the Parker Williams Library Innovation Lab for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to the 3D printing services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a 3D printer at any HCPL branch that has one. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer in the future.
This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a laser cutter at any HCPL branch that has one. Calling all creative tweens! Come hang out, make new friends, and try your hand at a fun new craft project each month. From simple DIYs to fun seasonal creations, you’ll leave with something amazing you made yourself. All materials provided. Open to tweens in 6th grade through 8th grade (ages 11-14).
Join the Katy Library every second Monday of each month for Big Kid Story Time! This story time is recommended for elementary-aged children and will include fun books, songs, and more! See you there!

Travel around the world without leaving the library! Learn about different foods and cultures with activities meant to share worldly experiences that are once in a lifetime!
This program is for ages 6 to 12. If there are younger kids in your group (under 6), please come to the Family Place play area to engage in age appropriate distractions while the older siblings are exploring their world.

Every 2nd Friday of the month @ 4-5:30pm, for ages 9-12
