Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings child and teens together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grades (Little Buddies).

Each Wednesday for 10 weeks, Big Buddies and Little Buddies will meet to read together and create positive experiences surrounding literacy. By the end of the session, we aspire that all Little Buddies will learn to love to read and form positive associations with reading.

FutureU Appointment 

With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.

No registration is necessary for this free program.

New crafts every week! Discover your new hobby and learn something new!

This event is open to teens aged 13-18 No registration is required, but space and supplies may be limited.

College is expensive, but paying for it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Join us for an informative Financial Aid & FAFSA Presentation where we’ll break down how to apply for aid, maximize your eligibility, and avoid common mistakes. Whether you’re a student or a parent, you’ll walk away knowing the steps to secure the funding you need for your education.

First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.
