Hey Teens and Tweens, did you know that tobacco companies are trying to trick you into vaping? Come snack and learn how to outsmart the big business bullies and protect your health! Grades 4 to12.
Teens
This teen (16 and up) & adult program uses Library of Congress women’s suffrage primary sources, such as letters, diaries, and women’s self-published information sources, to examine how suffragists documented their activism and feelings on women’s rights and social issues of the time.
Program attendees use recycled books, scrapbook paper, stamps, ephemera and personal effects to start their own scrapbook and create their own DIY personal history (that might become a future primary source!).
Teens! Using a needle and felting wool, design and create an artistic landscape or a 3D animal!
Program begins at 1pm in the Teen Lounge on the 2nd floor.
(they can stay as long as they like...just clean up)
*No registration required
