Teens ages 13-18 can join us at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library once a month to earn an hour of volunteer credit by doing a project for a local community organization! In March, we will be assisting Kids Meals.

Connect with other young artists at our monthly drawing group! Experiment with differerent styles, trade ideas, and enjoy a relaxed creative space. Art supplies and snacks provided. Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).
Join us for a for a fun Pixel Art Workshop! The library will close early on Thursday April 2nd, so we will meet from 3:30pm to 4:30pm instead of our regular time. See you there!
Join us for our Cricut orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.

What we offer:
Mudpie Company and Kingwood Branch Library have joined forces to host a pottery painting session! Come learn about the medium of pottery and create a custom painted piece*.
This program is for teens ages 13-18.
*Once painted, the pieces will be transported to Mudpie Company to be fired in their kiln. Once the pieces have been fired and returned, you will receive an email notifying you that your piece is ready for pick-up.
