Description: Ballet Body Conditioning Basics is ballet-based body conditioning and strengthening using Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) exercises.

Our Chapter Champions (teens) are ready to guide your Story Seekers (children; grades K-3rd) through the wonders of the written word in stories, information, and books.

The Literacy League is a literacy program to provide teen mentorship and guidance to K-3rd graders pursuant to establishing and promoting a culture of literacy and books at the library and beyond into their home Reading Refuge.

Adopt and design your very own pet rock! Decorate, personalize, and give your rock a unique personality that you will be able to take home. All supplies will be provided.

With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.

The Teen Advisory Board at South Houston Library is hosting a video game night! You do not have to be a part of the Teen Advisory Board to attend. 

We will be playing the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Games include Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and more! 

This program is intended for those 12-18 years old. 

Step into a life-sized version of Candy Land and become the game piece! Travel across the colorful board, complete fun challenges, and collect sweet treats along the way for a chance to win a candy prize.
