Atascocita Branch Library VolunTEEN Program
We’re looking for dedicated and responsible teens to make meaningful contributions at the Atascocita Library. As a VolunTEEN, you’ll play a key role in supporting library programs and services—your time, energy, and enthusiasm make a lasting impact in our community.
VolunTEENs may be asked to:
Learn the basics of archery in this fun, hands-on program for teens! Participants will learn about stance, grip, posture, and safety using foam and Velcro-tipped arrows in an inflatable range. No experience needed. Presented by Texas Parks & Wildlife.
Open to ages 11-18 only.
Tickets will be required and available for free at the front desk 15 minutes before event start time.
A waiver signed by a parent or guardian is also required for entry.
Learn how to heat press a custom vinyl cut design to a tote bag!
Learn how to add color to two laser engraved ceramic tile coasters using paint markers!
Learn about the Cricut Print & Cut Function to make custom stickers! After the demonstration, attendees will color two pre-printed stickers.

This event is for Middle and High Schoolers
This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.
- This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
