Want to pick up a fun, relaxing hobby? Try an intro to crochet class at the Jacinto City Branch library! Beginner friendly class that teaches the very basic of crochet. All the materials will be provided, you just got to bring yourself! Teen only event
Teen Book Club has transformed into Read It and Eat! It's a book club with a twist--during book club, you create something yummy based on this month's theme and then feast. This month, the theme is Book Fair and we will be making nachos! What is a book fair party? Just like a school book fair, we will have books and bookish swag. How do you get it? By earning Book Bucks. Play games, make crafts, logging books in the Summer Reading Challenge, and more to earn Book Bucks to redeem for prizes including a special auction at the end of the party.
Can you tell the difference between name brand items and generic? Sample ice cream, cookies, chips, and more and see if you can identify your favorite foods by taste.

The Galveston Bay Area Scale Modelers Association (GBASMA) is a chartered member of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS).. Club meetings are held monthly to present each other's current projects, share new modeling techniques, answer modeling questions and promote the hobby. We meet 10 AM to 12:30 PM on the 4th Saturday of each month except for May(meets the week after), November (meets the week before) and December.(no meeting).
Registration not required.
