Often described as 'meditation in motion', Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion exercise that helps to strengthen your muscles and relax your mind.
Falls are the number one mechanism of injury resulting in a visit to HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood's Emergency Department. As a level II trauma center, it is our responsibility and goal to provide our community with education and events to reduce the risk of future injuries. On Your Feet is an educational program identifying risk factors, how to make the home safer, and positive lifestyle choices and health behaviors with the purpose of reducing falls from occurring.

The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are holding their semi-annual book sale! A whole room of books for all ages, movies, music, and more! Most everything will be $1-$2 and 100% of the money earned at the sale go right back to the Northwest library and help fund our programs. So go crazy, give in to your inner book goblin!
